Why I “digg” Digg.

Never been to Digg?  Then I guess you don’t care about being relevant with news on the internet (I think that matters to a few social groups).

Here is how Digg works in all of its glory (I think).
News: serious, political, funny, pictures, videos, etc…. anything news worthy is on Digg.

How does it get to digg?

Well, thousands of people who are registered with Digg view plenty of news sites around the world.  If they “dig” the post they are reading they will “Digg It” to Digg.  Depending on how many “diggs” a news article gets it climbs up the Digg ranking on the site.

Obviously then, the more Diggs a news article gets, the more exposure that news article receives from the millions of Digg viewers around the world.

What I like most about Digg is the ability to organize Digg posts.

Here are the lists:

TechnologyWorld & BusinessScienceGamingLifestyleEntertainmentSportsOffbeat

And my personal favorite “Most Popular.”  If you are looking to kill time or actually read relevant news, then I suggest Digg to you.
